L'hébergement situé à La Couronne, au sud du Massif de l'Estaque, avait été réservé par notre amie Viviane. Pendant nos prospections, nous étions accompagnés et surtout conduits par le cartographe du département et nouveau président de la SFO-PACA, Mr Robin ROLLAND, puis par Annie et Michel Pinaud et enfin par l'ancien président de l'association Mr Pierre-Michel BLAIS. Ils nous ont permis, en plus des discussions passionnées sur le sujet des orchidées mais aussi de l'ornithologie, de découvrir bon nombre d'espèces. Les sites visités ont été ceux bien connus autour de Martigues (Sainte- Croix et Carro), mais aussi dans l'arrière-pays, près d'Aix et vers les Alpilles ou nous profiterons de magnifiques paysages.</i><br class='autobr' /> <br>.</p> <p><span class='spip_document_14132 spip_documents spip_documents_center'> <img src='https://www.orchidee-poitou-charentes.org/local/cache-vignettes/L500xH310/126-a-d4809.jpg?1777666464' width='500' height='310' alt="" /></span></p> <p>22 espèces ont été contactées, dont certaines très rares, d'autres avec 1 seul pied, d'autres en boutons ou rosettes. Les Ophrys font la part belle des observations avec 14 espèces et 13 hybrides. Sur un autre site, une très belle population d'Ophrys splendida. Sans oublier le rare Ophrys tenthredinifera subsp. neglecta que nous aurons la chance de voir en première fleur. Nous observerons aussi quelques lusus et Ophrys linearis et passionis dans la forme hypochrome. L'observation du Flaman nain et pour certains de la Talève sultane seront les surprises de la journée, accompagnés du râle d'eau, chevalier sp, avocette et sterne élégante. Pour la troisième fois, la SFO-PCV est intervenue sur un site privé, appartenant aux carrières « Garandeau ». Plusieurs structures ont été associées dans l'organisation et représentées le jour du chantier : l'entreprise, avec la responsable environnement et 3 salariés, les associations environnementales locales « Pérennis » et « ANLP » (Association Antenne Nature Patrimoine », le collège de Pons (un professeur et 4 élèves dans le cadre de leur formation) et bien sûr, la SFO. Soit une trentaine de personnes !
